About The Position
Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen is seeking a Vascular Surgery Physician to join an established, academically affiliated surgical practice. This opportunity offers a chance to build a clinically rich practice while contributing to the education of future physicians through affiliation with the UTRGV School of Medicine. The role involves working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by strong administrative infrastructure and cutting-edge technology, including a da Vinci XI robotic surgical system. Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas
Responsibilities
- Perform the full scope of open and endovascular procedures, including carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization, dialysis access, and venous interventions.
- Engage in clinical teaching opportunities with the UTRGV School of Medicine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery.
- Participate in a shared and coordinated call schedule.
