About The Position

The OSF Surgical Group is seeking to add a Vascular Surgeon to their team in Peoria, Illinois. The Vascular Surgeon will work as part of a multi-disciplinary model with cardiologists, CV surgeons, other specialty surgeons, independent radiologists, and other non-employed physicians. Call of 1:4 is shared with employed vascular specialists and in conjunction with collaborating practices. This opportunity allows for performing a large volume and variety of open and endovascular cases, including EVAR, TEVAR, and CAS, in state-of-the-art facilities with access to a new hybrid OR suite, Innova IGS Discovery 730. The role also includes the ability to participate in a large variety of venous cases and work with a high-volume, IAC-certified non-invasive vascular imaging lab. OSF Healthcare’s Saint Francis Medical Center is the only Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care medical center in the area and is home to OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

Responsibilities
