About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Vascular Surgeon at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This is an Independent Contractor position with competitive compensation. The clinic hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and the Operating Room (OR) Team Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Clinical hours for outpatient services or surgery shall comprise the 8.5 hour days. The location in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, offers an affordable cost of living, beautiful mountain scenery, outdoor recreation, a vibrant downtown, and easy access to major metropolitan areas like Philadelphia and New York City.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active DEA
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Any Active state License

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient vascular surgery services.
• Participate in weekend call and call back duties.
