Responsibilities

Perform Vascular Surgery procedures including aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal), arterial bypass (peripheral), and vascular access devices (AV shunt).
Provide call coverage for vascular surgery, with a 1:2 ratio and a 30-minute response time.
Manage assigned patients, including admissions, rounding, and phone consults.
Perform preferred procedures such as liver surgery, GI endoscopy (upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy), minor orthopedics (hand surgery), ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, PA catheter placement, and laser certification.
Perform plastic surgery procedures including Artesias, Esophageal, Intestinal, Biliary, Abdominal wall defects, Gastroschisis, Umbilical defects, Hernia, Omphalocele, Diaphragmatic hernia, Imperforate anus, and PDA ligation.
