Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Texas or eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• At least 3-5 years of post-residency/fellowship experience in vascular surgery preferred, but new graduates from fellowship programs are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in open vascular surgery, endovascular techniques, and hybrid procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills with a commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat vascular diseases affecting arteries, veins, and lymphatic systems, including aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease.
• Perform open surgeries, endovascular procedures, and minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular conditions.
• Proficient in dialysis creation and maintenance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in vascular care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest advances in vascular surgery and participate in continuing education to maintain board certification.
