About The Position

The Vascular Care Group (TVCG) seeks a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join our practice in Portland, ME, with a satellite location in York, ME. TVCG is the largest and fastest-growing privately owned vascular surgery group in the United States, primarily serving the greater New England area. We offer cutting-edge, comprehensive vascular and endovascular services in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, with expanding partnerships with major healthcare systems and academic centers. As part of our group, you will practice with experienced and renowned surgeons at the forefront of vascular surgical care. TVCG is uniquely positioned to lead and participate in multiple clinical trials through collaborations with the Vascular Breakthroughs Foundation, currently involved in over 20 trials and a top enroller in many industry-sponsored and physician-led investigational device exemption trials, including first-in-man treatments. You will have access to over 20 cutting-edge clinical trials and new devices through our platform and the opportunity to be immediately busy with clinic patients and a wide range of endovascular and open operative procedures.

Requirements

  • BC/BE Vascular Surgeon
  • Enthusiasm and drive for a robust clinical practice
  • Desire for enhancement, advancement, and improvement of the quality of minimally invasive care across any and all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Practice alongside experienced and renowned surgeons.
  • Participate in and lead multiple clinical trials.
  • Perform the full spectrum of peripheral arterial, mesenteric, renal, embolization, deep venous and central venous interventions.
  • Implant innovative thoughts and ideas with resources to implement them clinically.
  • Present at clinical trial investigator meetings along with regional and national vascular meetings.
