About The Position

This Vascular Surgeon position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians receive comprehensive training in wound management from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The position is a W2 employment contract, with no work visa sponsorship available. Physicians can expect to earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities also available. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time during clinical rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Become an expert in wound management.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
