About The Position

Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality Vascular exams using IAC-accredited protocols- LE, UE Venous, Carotid, and PVR. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures. Collaborates with physicians and team members to support diagnostic accuracy and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited CVT school with focus on vascular sonography (CAAHEP accredited preferred).
• Credentialed with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required.
• Excellent customer service skills with patient focus required.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with a minimum of one-years’ experience in the field are preferred
• Experience in Epic and Change Health software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular exams.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards.
• Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions.
• Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
