About The Position

Responsible for performing and overseeing vascular ultrasound procedures to assess blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. The role includes conducting a range of vascular examinations, using Doppler and color-flow imaging, ensuring ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated, preparing patients for examinations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate protocols.

Requirements

• RVT (ARDMS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Use Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of vascular ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Prepare and position patients for vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols for each patient.
