About The Position

The Vascular Sonographer performs vascular sonography, including upper and lower venous and arterial studies, carotid scanning, and ankle-brachial index (ABI) scanning. The role requires two years of vascular sonography experience, an applicable active Texas license, a recognized vascular sonography credential, and active BLS certification. This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Two years of vascular sonography experience.
• Experience with upper and lower venous and arterial scanning, carotid scanning, and ABI scanning.
• Graduate of an accredited program.
• Active Texas license, if applicable.
• RVT certification from ARDMS or RVS certification from CCI.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper and lower venous and arterial scanning.
• Perform carotid scanning.
• Perform ABI scanning.
