About The Position
As a Vascular Sonographer, you play a critical role in helping diagnose vascular conditions that directly impact patient care and treatment decisions. Your expertise in ultrasound imaging provides clinicians with high-quality diagnostic information, while your calm, reassuring presence helps patients feel supported during procedures—whether they are comfortable or experiencing high levels of anxiety.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program OR 3 years of experience in an institution with a specialized vascular diagnostic lab
- ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS certification required within 1 year of hire
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist preferred
- Experience in a specialized, accredited vascular lab preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound procedures using advanced imaging technology
- Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate settings based on patient needs and exam type
- Prepare patients for procedures while providing clear communication and compassionate care
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the broader clinical care team to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain compliance with established protocols and standards within a specialized vascular lab setting
