About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to work at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads are welcome to apply. This position is scheduled for 40 hours weekly, with 4 - 10 hour shifts from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, and includes an every 4th weekend rotation from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with on-call duties once a week from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The facility is St. Elizabeth's Hospital located in O'Fallon, IL. Compensation is aligned with experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program.
• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• Must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program.
• Experience in ultrasound/sonography.
