About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Vascular Product Marketing Intern will assist with planning and execution of ongoing marketing efforts for assigned Penumbra products. This is a part time role with hours expected to be 32 hours per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma with 2+ years of college with coursework in biology, neuroscience, business, or a related discipline and 1+ year of business, administrative, or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other standard office tools required.

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Some exposure to digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the development and production of new marketing literature and sales support tools.
- Assist the Marketing Team in updating Vascular website.
- Attend trade shows and meetings to develop an understanding of the clinical use of Penumbra products.
- Participate in clinical data gathering and review activities, identifying major studies, key end points, upcoming trials and data release dates (PEN and competitive products) to support publications and scientific presentations that underpin Penumbra’s messages and clinical value propositions in the medical community.
- Conduct ShowPad Audit and provide recommendations to the Team on what needs to be updated, removed, added, or re-vamped.
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
- Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
