About The Position

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experienced in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with vascular disease, including lower extremity venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial disease. This position is office-based and primarily focused on consultations, ongoing evaluations, and follow-up care. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with the physician and perform consultations within his/her scope of practice once trained and qualified.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years in an inpatient, outpatient, or surgical setting.
  • Vascular experience required; procedural experience is a plus.
  • Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
  • Active NP or PA license in the applicable state.
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • Comfortable working independently in outpatient settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage vascular conditions such as venous insufficiency, pelvic congestion syndrome, and peripheral arterial disease.
  • Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on vascular conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, follow-ups, and emergencies.
  • Document care in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
