Vascular Lab Technologist / SEIU - E
About The Position
Performs and reports all required vascular ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level as ordered by Physician. Conducts individualized patient assessment in accordance with ordered vascular procedure. Performs vascular testing utilizing testing/ultrasound equipment. Provides patient education regarding testing procedures and vascular disease process. Provides a preliminary interpretation of vascular testing completed. Determines and completes proper notification of the test result to the patient's physician and/or vascular physician. Maintains records in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Participates in educational activities for patients and in-services for both external/internal personnel and the community. Attends meetings as required. Performs maintenance, tests accuracy/safety, and reports malfunctions of the vascular lab equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Minimum RVT certification or eligible (certification must be achieved within 12 months from date of hire)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
