About The Position

The Vascular Cath Lab Tech works alongside physicians and colleagues during cardiac and vascular procedures, helping deliver safe, high-quality care. The role involves supporting patients and families throughout their procedure journey, operating and maintaining advanced cath lab equipment, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining a sterile and safe environment. The listed shift is 0700–1530, with call required.

Requirements

• Current ARRT registry eligibility and a TDH license.
• Obtain ARRT certification within 90 days.
• BCLS; ACLS and EKG certification within 90 days of hire.
• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of the employment start date.
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer (ARRT-R) Radiography.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures through care, education, and reassurance.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to provide safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses during care.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment and advocate for patients.
