We are currently seeking motivated and experienced LPNs to join our growing team in the Fayetteville, NC area , based at a large medical center . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company and gain experience in specialized nursing. Training is available for ideal candidates with limited experience. Candidates with 1-2 years of LPN experience are encouraged to apply. As a Vascular Rounding Nurse , you will support our in-house vascular access team at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Requirements

  • Active NC LPN license in good standing.
  • Maintain HIPAA/HITECH compliance with all activities.
  • Completion of drug screen and background check.
  • Adherence to Company policies and procedures.
  • Lift and move 50lbs repetitively.
  • Have reliable transportation, may include driving distances of over 60 miles to client satellite facility.
  • Complete all required modules, credentialing paperwork, and skills assessment.
  • Candidates with 1-2 years of LPN experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and review assignments with the Procedural RN on site.
  • Provide hands-on care, maintenance, and site assessment, for all central line catheters, dialysis catheters, and midlines.
  • Use aseptic technique to start peripheral IVs (PIVs) as needed.
  • Promote proper standards of care for PIV access, central utility, and maintenance.
  • Use sterile technique with all dressing changes.
  • Acts as a circulator for procedures, including monitoring and documenting procedural start times, assisting in maintaining a sterile field, transporting and cleaning equipment, and communicating workflow with the Help Desk.
  • Assist in accurately completing all documentation for patient chart and for main office, including online for facility EMR.
  • Communicate changes with patient’s primary care nurse and the on-site procedural RN.
