2026-2027 Varsity Boy's Soccer - Head Coach (FHHS)
About The Position
This position is for the 2026-2027 Varsity Boy's Soccer Head Coach at FHHS. The coach will be responsible for meeting and instructing assigned activities, creating a positive learning environment, and preparing students for success both on and off the field. This includes fostering acceptable behavior, employing effective teaching techniques, and understanding student development. The coach will also implement the District's educational philosophy, enforce safety regulations, maintain accurate records, and uphold all district policies and administrative regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising students outside of school hours, teaching teamwork, and instructing soccer fundamentals.
Requirements
- High School soccer coaching experience
- Teaching or Substitute Certificate Required
- Valid IVP Finger Print Card Required
- Valid First Aide/CPR training required
Responsibilities
- Meet and instruct assigned activities in the locations and times designated
- Create an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
- Prepare for assignments
- Encourage students to set and maintain acceptable standards of behavior
- Employ a variety of techniques to enhance the activity
- Assist students to become self-directed learners
- Understand and apply knowledge about student growth and development in order to provide maximum student learning
- Implement the District’s philosophy of education
- Enforce safety precautions and guidelines to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities
- Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by laws, District policy and administrative regulations
- Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student behavior and conduct
- Enforce and follow the policies and administrative regulations of the District
- Supervising students during out of school hours
- Teach teamwork
- Teach soccer fundamentals
- Perform all duties as assigned
