About The Position

Cascades at Riverwalk is a skilled nursing facility focused on quality care, recovery, and helping residents maintain independence. This is a meaningful part-time role where you can make a difference in someone's day by ensuring residents get where they need to go-safely and comfortably. The role involves safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments and outings, assisting with loading and unloading, ensuring residents are secure and comfortable, maintaining a clean vehicle, and communicating clearly with staff and residents.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable, organized, and safety-focused
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working with geriatric residents

Nice To Haves

• Previous driving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and outings
• Assist with loading and unloading residents from the facility vehicle
• Ensure residents are secure and comfortable during transport
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle
• Communicate clearly with staff and residents regarding schedules and needs
