Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services, or a related field required.
  • Certification in dangerous goods awareness, licensure in operation of the applicable vehicle class, cold chain handling, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Executes pickup and delivery activities for assigned shipments in accordance with timing, handling, and documentation requirements.
  • Verifies shipment details, secures required signatures or proof of delivery, and maintains accurate transport records.
  • Transports materials, products, and medical samples in line with route plans, temperature controls, and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Communicates delivery status, delays, and shipment exceptions to support timely issue resolution and service continuity.
  • Supports loading, unloading, packaging, and labeling activities to protect shipment integrity and readiness for transport.
  • Monitors vehicle condition and packaging supply levels, and escalates maintenance needs or stock shortages to reduce operational disruption.
  • Provides support for specialized transport activities, including transfer-point, airport, hand-to-hand, and adjusted schedule assignments, as required by service needs.
