About The Position

The Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Van/Shuttle Driver to join their dynamic team. This part-time role involves transporting contracted airline staff to and from General Mitchell International Airport and other authorized locations within the Milwaukee area. The Hilton Milwaukee, having recently undergone a $40 million renovation, is a historic gem connected to the expanded Baird Center and is known for its world-class service, upscale amenities, and superior style.

Requirements

• One or more years of customer service /guest service experience preferred.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Background Screening following Company Policy and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be knowledgeable about the Greater Milwaukee Area and General Mitchell International Airport.
• Must have the ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs (ie. luggage, boxes, other).
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely and securely transport guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey.
• Warmly welcome guests at the hotel's main entrance, setting a positive tone for their stay.
• Inspect the van for cleanliness before each trip, addressing any issues such as snow removal, vacuuming, and trash disposal.
• Ensure vans are always fueled and ready for transport.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs, such as oil changes, low tire pressure, or damages, to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall guest experience.
