Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, recreational activities, and social events.
  • Performing routine safety checks on the vehicle before each trip, ensuring it is in optimal condition.
  • Maintaining a high level of communication with the care team, providing updates on resident well-being during transportation.
  • Assisting residents with boarding and disembarking, promoting a respectful and supportive atmosphere throughout their journey.
  • Documenting trip logs and any incidents that may arise during transport.
  • Supporting residents with basic care needs on occasion, if holding a CNA certification.
