Van Driver
About The Position
Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit. Van Drivers are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Picks up patients that are enrolled in the day program and returns them home at the end of the day. Transports patients home post discharge and transports patients to medical appointments, court, etc. as necessary.
Requirements
- Must have a valid PA Drivers License.
- No DUI/DWI in the past seven (7) years.
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must demonstrate ability to drive 15+ passenger vehicle.
- Ability to work 7:00am to 10:00am and/or 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) or more years of prior transport experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with behavioral health population strongly preferred.
