About The Position

All aboard! Safe Drivers wanted! This role is part of the Life Enrichment Department and involves driving residents to and from appointments and external events such as shopping, restaurants, and church. The driver is responsible for ensuring the safety of residents during these outings. Additionally, when not driving, the team member will assist with setting up and cleaning up programming, moving furniture, decorating for occasions (which may involve retrieving storage totes and using ladders), gathering residents for activities, and potentially running programming such as exercise, games, trivia, painting, arts and crafts, word games, happy hour, and karaoke. The role also includes assisting with dressing residents for special events.

Requirements

Working with and conversing with others is something you really enjoy!
Your attention to detail is so good that we know everyone will wear their seat belt and be secure in the vehicle.
You're 21 or older and your active Driver's license is in excellent standing.

Responsibilities

Drive residents to and from appointments.
Drive residents for events outside of the community, including but not limited to shopping, restaurants, church, etc., and attend the event to help ensure the safety of the residents.
Continually check the vehicle to ensure it remains clean and safe for our residents.
Assisting with setting up and clean up from programming, which involves moving furniture (chairs, tables, sofas, etc.).
Assisting with decorating for various occasions, including but not limited to taking storage totes in and out of storage closets, going up and down ladders, etc.
Assisting with gathering residents for programming.
Assisting with and potentially running programming, such as but not limited exercise, games, trivia, painting, arts and crafts, word games, happy hour, karaoke, dressing up for special events.
