About The Position
Provides transportation to individuals with developmental disabilities by operating safely and courteously, various types of vans and buses through heavy or light city and highway traffic, in all conditions and following all rules and regulations. Ability to follow directions, communicate, perform simple math functions and knows basic weights and measures.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Commercial Driving License A, B, or C with passenger endorsement in good standing required (B & C preferred).
- At least 5 years of active driving experience required.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
- Must be available to work in Albany and Niskayuna locations.
- Ability to follow directions, communicate, perform simple math functions and knows basic weights and measures.
Nice To Haves
- Will consider paid CDL training for qualified applicants
