About The Position
Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) strives to impact our local community through innovative behavioral health, substance use and developmental services. Utilizing exceptionally qualified staff from diverse backgrounds, we strive to enhance lives and promote whole health wellness through a vast array of supportive services. We have been providing services throughout Rockbridge and Bath counties and the cities of Lexington and Buena Vista since 1982.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record in accordance with RACS policies
Nice To Haves
- Strong computer and organizational skills are preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation to clients to and from programs as assigned
- Assist clients in and out of the van and secure them appropriately as needed
- Drive safely, obey all traffic laws, and assure clients wear seat belts
- Must maintain a safe driving record
- Intervene appropriately and report any behavioral problems to the Clinic Office Manager
