Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent.
Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Complete Basic Orientation and attend recommended in-service training.

Responsibilities

Drive the van and transport individuals to various destinations on a daily basis.
Collaborate with team members to create efficient transportation schedules using scheduling software.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of van operation to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
Complete weekly safety checklists and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
Maintain daily mileage logs and monthly maintenance logs.
Adapt to changing transportation needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
Interact positively with individuals served, family members, case managers, and the public.
Provide backup coverage as assigned for vacations, illness, or emergencies.
Be flexible with schedule changes, including weekends and holidays.
Ensure the van is safe and sanitary for transportation.
Respond effectively to emergencies and follow procedures.
Notify the supervisor of needed repairs or concerns.
