About The Position

Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for dedicated individuals passionate about food, supply chain, and their community to help us enhance our communities through quality produce. This role is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers, driving a sprinter van.

Requirements

Be 18 yrs old or older
Driving experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50 lbs. throughout shift
Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
Satisfactory driving record
State driver license, good driving record.
At least one year of driving experience, delivery driver experience preferred.
Provide at least five (5) year Driving Record from the DMV
Valid Medical Card and endorsements
Pass pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and reference check
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Work an electric/manual pallet jack
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently

Responsibilities

Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck
Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
Promote & maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam.
Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy.
Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam.
