About The Position

The Van Driver is responsible for the safe and comfortable transportation of residents to various activities and appointments, contributing to their well-being and the community's engagement. This role is part of the Engagement & Activity Team, which focuses on bringing purpose and joy to the community.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a passenger van safely and responsibly.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with seniors.
Respectful and patient attitude towards residents.
Physical ability to assist residents with boarding and exiting the van.
Criminal Background Screening is required.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and community events.
Ensure the comfort and well-being of passengers during transit.
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van safely.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the van, conducting routine inspections.
Assist in community programs and activities as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and community members.
Report any issues or incidents promptly.
Uphold a friendly and helpful demeanor to create a positive experience for residents.
