About The Position
The Aloft Tempe is seeking Van Drivers for part-time positions. The role involves driving a van or small bus to transport hotel guests to and from the airport, as well as to tourist areas and other destinations. The driver is also responsible for providing information on the local area and ensuring the comfort and safety of guests. The available shifts include 2 overnight positions and a 3pm to 11pm shift on Friday/Saturday nights.
Requirements
- Ability to meet all the comfort requirements of the hotel guests and customers
- Ability to drive in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to keep a record of all incidents while driving
- Ability to ensure safe and easy travel for customers/guests
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Responsibilities
- Drive a van or small bus to collect and deliver hotel guests to and from the airport
- Transport guests to tourist areas and/or other destinations
- Provide information on the local area
- Assist guests with travel or destination issues by applying knowledge of the local area
- Keep a record of all incidents while driving, such as accidents or tickets
- Ensure safe and easy travel for customers/guests to their destinations or to the hotel
- Assist in security procedures at night
- Walk the hallways in between runs to ensure hotel safety
- Take items to guest rooms as requested
- Assist with light maintenance, cleaning, and laundry duties
