About The Position

Provides efficient and reliable delivery and pick up of parts and equipment and transports departmental staff on Client related business between buildings and campuses in Rochester and surrounding Client Rochester communities. Will assist with parts inventory and sorting when not providing delivery and/or transporting services. Is responsible to monitor the physical condition of the Equipment Services van and arrange for maintenance services when appropriate. Interacts politely and professionally with vendors and all Client staff. This position requires the ability to think and respond quickly while exhibiting good judgment and to work independently without direct supervision. The ability to respond quickly to urgent delivery and transportation requests is essential. Requires good communications and telephone skills and basic computer experience. Must be able to demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities when given conflicting information and deal with stressful situations in a calm and pleasant manner. Some heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds) is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s License or equivalent from another state
• Ability to think and respond quickly while exhibiting good judgment
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Good communications and telephone skills
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities when given conflicting information
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and pleasant manner
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
