Requirements

Obtain a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
No previous work experience is necessary.
A valid driver's license and driver's abstract are required for this position.
Dynamic and reliable person with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Committed to quality assurance and safety.

Responsibilities

Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing deliveries (including a driving log).
Prepare items for delivery.
Receive, lift, move, and stock items where directed.
Compare incoming and outgoing deliveries with delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders or other documents to ensure compliance.
Unpack and examine the receipt of all goods, returning damaged items, recording deficiencies.
Fill orders, remove supplies from the kitchen and stockroom and rotate inventory to ensure freshness.
Use the internal inventory tracking system.
Prepare goods for distribution including transportation and storage.
Move or transport materials or supplies to other departments as required using manual or industrial carts.
Maintain the cleanliness of storage areas by sweeping and mopping.
Ensure the safety of the inventory in the warehouse and/or refrigerator/freezer.
Comply with all Sodexo, facility, local, state and federal safety requirements.
Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as needed.
Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned as required.
