Gordon Food Service is seeking a Van Delivery Driver to build relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. This position involves local travel with home every day. The role requires unloading cases up to 100 lbs throughout the shift. Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- One year of previous driving experience.
- One year of experience in customer service or related field.
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- CDL A required at hire or within 90 days of start.
- A CDL temp permit minimum requirement at hire providing the applicant meets all DOT requirements at hire and obtains full CDL A no later than the 90th day of employment.
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana).
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Responsibilities
