Valve Technician
About The Position
The Valve Technician is responsible for the maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing of safety and pilot valves. This role requires adherence to safety and quality procedures, proficiency in reading measuring/scaling devices, and the ability to perform tasks such as cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components. The technician will also collaborate with and mentor other technicians, operate various equipment including overhead hoists, blasters, parts washers, and torches, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The position may involve field assignments and requires working at various elevations.
Requirements
- Industrial Valve Experience
- Proficiency of manufacturer safety valve lines
- Basic mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, basic hand and power tool knowledge
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrate effective time management skills
- Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record
- Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
Nice To Haves
- Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred)
- Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred)
Responsibilities

- Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
- Must be able to operate motor vehicle
- Must be able to document and enter job data
