About The Position

The Valve Technician performs maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on safety and pilot valves. This role requires adherence to safety and quality procedures and the ability to read measuring/scaling devices. Responsibilities include cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components, collaborating with colleagues, mentoring other technicians, and operating various equipment such as overhead hoists, blasters, parts washers, and torches. The technician will maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is in good working order. Field assignments may be required, involving climbing and working at various elevations. The role also necessitates operating a motor vehicle and maintaining safety awareness in an industrial workplace, along with documenting and entering job data.

Requirements

Industrial Valve Experience
Proficiency of manufacturer safety valve lines.
Basic mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, basic hand and power tool knowledge.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrate effective time management skills.
Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record.
Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening.
Travel when needed at anytime.
Working in hot and cold environments.
Bending, stooping, walking.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
