Valve Technician

About The Position
This position provides traveling field service to client sites in the Springfield, Illinois region. The technician works with control valves, pressure relief valves, and applications in oil and gas, power, and fluid sealing. The schedule starts at 7:00 a.m., with 8–10-hour days depending on service needs, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be available, and overnight travel is expected. Starting compensation is $20.00–$30.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with control valves, instrumentation, or valve actuation.
- Ability to repair and install independently, educate customers, and service software.
- Efficiency with steam traps, gas analyzers, and temperature/pressure flow systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Selected candidates will be subject to pre-employment checks and screening.
