About The Position
The assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and troubleshooting products and sub-components using hand tools and power tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience (1 year).
- Well organized and able to work minimal supervision
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate required equipment necessary for task at hand
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with applicable workmanship standards is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspects parts to assure they are clean and free of contaminates.
- Remove visible dirt, grit oil, grease and other foreign matter from valve product parts, prior to assembly.
- Reviews and verifies work/sales order to customer requirements.
- Verify parts per bill of material and drawings.
- Assemble parts in proper sequence, as specified in the drawings or method specifications.
- Assembles components to applicable procedures using lubricants, power tools, torques wrenches, specialty tools, etc.
- Creates and attaches nameplates.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
- Practices good housekeeping in work area.
- Utilizes & abides by ISO/API and Safety Procedures.
