Value Stream Leader
About The Position
The Value Stream Leader (VSL) is responsible for all actions and activities that support their area of responsibility, including Safety, Quality, and Production Performance. VSLs will directly support shop techs and interact with multiple departments that support their areas of responsibilities. VSLs will be responsible for all clerical, technical, and functional support that may/will include safety reports, TipQa, Production Performance reporting, and other duties as required. This position is responsible to communicate effectively the goals and objectives that support the plant-wide objectives with Safety, Quality, and Production performance in that order. VSLs are expected to support their physical areas of responsibility keeping them safe, clean, and up-to-date with communications with the Gemba board. VSLs will conduct ongoing training and communications with regular team meetings to support objectives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of plant experience
- High school education

- Supervision skills with prior experience
- Manufacturing environment experience with safety/quality bias
