About The Position

The Radio Frequency Components (RFC) semiconductor facility operates 24/7 to deliver high-quality products that support the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Value Stream Lead to oversee and manage the semiconductor Front-End Value Stream at our Andover site. As a senior leader, you will drive operational excellence, ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, lead cross-functional teams, and manage end-to-end processes within the value stream to meet customer requirements. This individual will have full management accountability in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements in a multi-cell/multi-shift operation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Prior Management or Leadership experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Production, and/or Quality.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with aerospace and defense industry standards or customers.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar value streams successfully.
  • Expertise in front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • EVMS certification
  • High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or CORE/six sigma project implementation PowerPoint, Excel, Project and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, CMES)

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the semiconductor front-end value stream, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, customer commitments, and operational targets.
  • Develop and execute production schedules, capacity planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet demand while optimizing productivity and costs.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including operators, engineers, and technical support staff. Foster collaboration and accountability across the team.
  • Identify and implement Lean principles, CORE methodologies, and other best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external customer requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering, production control, quality, and other cross business teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive innovation within the value stream.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, cost performance, COPQ, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to production schedules, yield issues, and technical challenges.
  • Serve as the primary interface with internal NHA customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations.
  • Lead the team through a period of rapid growth, process migration and new capital release to production.
