Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or equivalent or 5 years equivalent experience in value analysis, contract management and/or supply chain project management.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical healthcare experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Driving/facilitating select Value Analysis teams to drive organizational product and service selection.
  • Research products and/or services.
  • Obtain samples.
  • Set up structured trials.
  • Drive evaluation effort (compares patient safety, product quality, and total cost).
  • Work with vendors.
  • Drive issue resolution internally as well as with manufacturers and vendors.
  • Facilitate meetings.
  • Train team leads and team members.
  • Implementation and education.
  • Post implementation follow-up, documentation and communication.
  • Advocates for product and service standardization and unwarranted clinical variation.
  • Drives team to decision using a structured, objective approach.
