About The Position

The Value Analysis Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Value Analysis Program and coordinating activities associated with specific, complex Value Analysis projects, including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. Working under supervision with some independent judgment required, this role collaborates with Value Analysis leadership, Supply Chain staff, clinicians, and vendors to implement Value Analysis objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders, managing data on Value Analysis program effectiveness, and facilitating the deployment of Value Analysis strategies that optimize cost-effective products, services, and processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years college coursework in Business, Project Management, Human Services, or related field.
  • Five (5) years progressively responsible experience in administration/customer service, with at least one (1) year of project coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, editing and creating written communications and/or reports.
  • Experience providing administrative support.
  • Experience in a health care setting.
  • Experience with information collection management systems.
  • Experience with collaborative on-line tools to support distributed project teams (MS Project, Wikis, web surveys).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience serving as a project coordinator.
  • Experience working on process improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated excellence in database management and information collection management systems.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the process of executing initiatives essential for the success of the Value Analysis Program.
  • Supports Value Analysis by facilitating Value Analysis Committees and projects, which includes managing agendas, scheduling, data review, and cross-functional participation.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective communication among clinical and non-clinical stakeholders regarding Value Analysis activities.
  • Facilitates the deployment of the Value Analysis strategy, drafting and editing written communications, reports, and departmental newsletters to share key Value Analysis updates and program effectiveness.
  • Manages data on Value Analysis project effectiveness by tracking all Value Analysis decisions, cost savings, and spend associated with product implementations using designated tracking tools.
  • Supports Value Analysis by coordinating clinical evaluation trial activities with clinical partners.
  • Identifies appropriate product substitutions when needed due to shortages, and manages product backorders or supply disruptions in collaboration with clinicians, sourcing, and suppliers to align with Value Analysis goals and minimize operational impact.
  • Supports Value Analysis by assisting materials staff with cataloging products for material information systems to ensure accurate Value Analysis reporting.
  • Implements a variety of solutions that optimize Value Analysis project effectiveness and maintains all policies and procedures related to the Value Analysis process.
