The firm is seeking a Director to join its growing Valuation Services practice, which provides services for tax and financial reporting, gift and estate tax, and fairness opinions. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with an advanced understanding of valuation approaches and methodologies. The Director will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of engagement objectives, supervising small teams on multiple concurrent engagements, and offering valuable expertise to a variety of clients. This role involves managing engagement economics and client expectations to drive successful completion of engagement objectives. Travel may be required based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business or equivalent required
  • Relevant certifications beneficial (i.e. ASA, CPA/ABV, ASA, CVA, CEIV, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of Valuation modeling, approaches and methodologies
  • 10+ years or more of accounting or consulting experience at a public accounting or consulting firm, industry of combination of public accounting and industry experience
  • Proven ability to establish relationships, acquire new business, and prepare engagement proposals
  • Experience supervising small teams
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and developing staff
