About The Position

The Valuation Intern will support Lightshift Energy’s pricing and valuation activities. Working within the finance team, this role offers hands-on experience in project financial modeling, transaction diligence, and structured finance within the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS or graduate program (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field)
• Proficiency in Excel; with experience in complex financial modeling and project finance concepts
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Tax Equity, structured debt, and GAAP accounting preferred
• CPA, CFA, or progress toward these designations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support pricing needs across Lightshift’s investment portfolio
• Collaborate with finance and analytics teams on project financial modeling and pricing analysis
• Conduct fundamental analysis of company and portfolio-level cash flow, including financial modeling and returns analysis
• Support tax equity/debt diligence
• Create and maintain data rooms
