Appraises real estate properties independently for the purposes of dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, portfolio analysis, estate purposes and other intended uses. This role involves preparing complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties, conducting complete appraisals, examining and evaluating commercial properties to establish market value, and making independent decisions and providing judgment in the development of the appraisal for complex properties. The appraiser will also inspect properties, complete formal review responses, engage directly in client meetings, and complete formal rebuttal letters. Maintaining knowledge of current government regulations, zoning laws, appraisal standards, necessary software programs, and data sources is crucial. This position may perform other duties as assigned.
