Validation/Verification Engineering, Sr Engineer
About The Position
Research, design, develop, or test electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use, applying knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties. Validate Synopsys silicon intellectual properties (IP), with a focus on PCIe products. Collect experimental data to ensure Synopsys PCIe silicon products comply with PCI-SIG standards, including IP block electrical characterization and debugging circuitry functionality. Generate and provide validation reports, and work with Synopsys designers to debug potential issues on silicon and implement patches to resolve them. The position is 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Six months of experience in validation engineering.
- Experience with oscilloscopes.
- Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
- Background in circuit design, debugging, and validation.
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Experience with multimeters.
- Experience with power supplies.
- Background in analog circuits.
- Background in radio-frequency (RF) circuits.
