About The Position

Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and builds custom high-speed automation assembly machines for medical devices, consumer goods, and industrial manufacturing. The Validation Engineer develops, maintains, tests, commissions, and qualifies documentation for new and existing machinery.

The role is based 100% onsite at the Belvidere, Illinois facility. Depending on workload, occasional travel to the South Elgin, Illinois location is required.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree with an emphasis in engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, coursework, internships, and manufacturing work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience writing technical documentation.
• Ability to develop technical documents and read blueprints.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tools.
• ISO experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation and execute DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ protocol test cases in compliance with cGMP.
• Assist customers with FAT and SAT commissioning and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members to prepare customer-specified documentation, including functional, software, hardware, configuration, and vision design specifications; owner’s and operator-tech manuals; presentations; machine task instructions; RIT BOMs; and spare parts lists.
• Write and execute test cases to verify machine function, quality control measures, and performance.
• Develop and update documentation in Kneat Gx.
• Conduct and document risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Develop technical construction files for CE machinery.
