About The Position
Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation. The Validation Engineer role is based onsite in Chandler, Arizona, and involves benchmarking and workload execution across CPU, memory, storage, network, graphics and media, and NPU performance. The role requires strong Linux operating-system and command-line expertise, including experience with server and client environments.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Mandatory skill: ASIC Verification.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, shell environments, process monitoring, performance tuning, package management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong Linux command-line expertise and experience working in server and client environments.
Responsibilities
- Run CPU benchmarks such as SPEC CPU, Geekbench, and Coremark.
- Execute memory bandwidth and latency tests such as STREAM, lmbench, and MLC (Memory Latency Checker).
- Conduct storage I/O benchmarking and network throughput testing.
- Validate GPU compute performance, including Intel Media SDK and OpenCL workloads.
- Validate video encode/decode throughput and display pipeline performance.
- Assess NPU performance.
- Use Linux system knowledge for process monitoring, performance tuning, package management, and troubleshooting.
