About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Validation Engineer – Wintel Server. This is a Full Time - Contract position with a duration of 12+ Months, located in Chandler, AZ. As a Validation Engineer – Wintel Server, you will be responsible for quality engineering for Wintel server operating systems, configurations, and VMWare virtualization technology as applied in cloud computing environments. This includes performing virtual testing lab support and maintenance, technical requirements analysis for testing and test automation development, and developing testing conditions, models, scripts, and data sets during the Service Design stage. You will also be involved in defect management, evaluating results against exit criteria, and preparing summary reports. The role requires expertise in Wintel OS server administration, strong knowledge of Python, JSON, PowerShell, Ansible, and other scripting tools, and proven experience with cloud virtualization technologies, including orchestration and workflow virtualization. A strong understanding of service validation, testing processes, Agile methodology, and JIRA management is essential. Excellent communication, documentation, and process improvement skills are also required, along with proficiency in Windows OS, folder structures, and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Excel).

Requirements

Expertise in Wintel OS server admin
Highly effective working knowledge of Python, JSON, PowerShell, Ansible, and other scripting tools and capabilities.
Proven working knowledge of cloud virtualization technologies, including an understanding of orchestration and workflow virtualization functionality.
Strong working knowledge of service validation and testing process, Agile methodology, and JIRA management.
Excellent communication skills and ability to understand customer-based requirements and expectations.
Strong documentation skills.
Highly effective at driving process improvement based on lessons learned analysis.
Expertise in navigating/using Windows OS and folder structures; Microsoft Office and collaboration tools: Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

Performs virtual testing lab support and maintenance.
Performs technical requirements analysis for testing and test automation development objectives.
Develops and plans testing conditions, test models, test scripts and test data sets during the Service Design stage of the service lifecycle and ensures adequate access in place for a successful test.
Performs defect management during testing.
Evaluates results against exit criteria and prepares summary reports.
