About The Position

Residences at The Little Nell offer exquisite private mountainside homes and guest rooms situated at the base of Aspen Mountain. Owners and rental guests enjoy exceptional personal service delivered by Aspen's only Five-Star, Five-Diamond, ski-in/ski-out hotel, featuring luxurious amenities, personalized service, breathtaking mountain views, renowned dining, and unparalleled access to America’s most famous mountain town. The dramatic, mountain-inspired architecture features exceptional finishes, custom furnishings, fine art, and curated collectibles, with expansive private decks and furnished balconies that overlook breathtaking mountain scenery and the vibrant energy at the base of the gondola. Residences at The Little Nell also provide access to a stunning rooftop pool and water garden, gym and yoga studio with a view. The Valet will provide prompt and courteous valet parking service to all hotel guests and assist Bellperson as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Driver’s License, with no violations
  • Familiarity with hotel fire and safety procedures
  • Familiar with hotel services, hours of operation
  • Knowledge of daily functions, locations and times to assist guests with inquiries
  • Excellent communication & guest relations skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures for the Rooms Division, The Little Nell and Aspen One
  • Ability to assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to drive a stick shift car

Responsibilities

  • Park and deliver vehicles to and from the garage basement promptly, efficiently, and safely
  • Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all time
  • Responsible for returning the guest vehicle in the same condition as it was left, i.e. seats, radio and mirrors in the same position
  • Responsible for locking the car and returning the keys with properly marked tags to lock the box.
  • Cars that cannot be locked properly should be noted on the valet ticket
  • Responsible for completing tickets according to protocol, including inspecting the outside of the car and writing down any obvious damage
  • Report damages to a guest’s car immediately to the Guest Services Manager or Manager on Duty, completing incident reports immediately
  • Assist guests with vehicle problems or direct them to the concierge for assistance
  • Keep valet area clean and orderly at all times
  • Assist at the front door at the Doorperson/Bellperson's request
  • Assist with the collection of monies for hourly parking
  • Reconciliation of vehicles for overnight parking
  • Other duties as assigned
