About The Position
Join our team as a Valet for our gated retirement community. The Valet is responsible for receiving, parking, and retrieving resident and guest vehicles; and the reception and distribution of packages and personal items.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to maintain/strengthen good working relationships with staff, residents and families
- Must be able to stay calm during emergency situations and take appropriate actions as necessary
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Valid driver's license
- Genuine interest in seniors and compassion for the aging
Nice To Haves
- Good skills in communicating, listening, planning, organizing, problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Promptly greeting residents, guests and visitors
- Assist drivers and guests with opening vehicle doors
- Maintain a daily log of completed shift functions
- Maintain/strengthen good working relationships with staff, residents, and families
- Receive, park, and retrieve resident and guest vehicles
- Reception and distribution of packages and personal items
