About The Position

The Valet will be responsible for opening doors and assisting guests and visitors entering and leaving the property. This role involves monitoring and directing personal and commercial vehicle traffic on the property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines, and buses, to ensure legal parking and a smooth flow of traffic. The Valet will also supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas/levels, reporting any vehicles/safety hazards, unauthorized personnel, or potential security problems to management, and maintaining the security of vehicles and vehicle keys. The Valet will also communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, completing safety training, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting company assets. The Valet must welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are essential, including speaking clearly and professionally and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships and supporting team goals are also important. The role requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The Valet will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.

  • Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys.

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
